Team Canada will play its second exhibition game before the World Baseball Classic, Thursday at 3:05 p.m. ET against the Seattle Mariners at the Mariners' spring training home, the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Arizona.

Team Canada dropped its first exhibition game Wednesday afternoon, falling to the Chicago Cubs 11-7 at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona. Thursday will be the final game for Team Canada, managed by Ernie Whitt, to work the kinks out of its system, before beginning play in the World Baseball Classic Sunday against Great Britain.

Thursday, Team Canada will get another opportunity to prep itself as best as it can before the tournament. Former Chicago Cubs pitcher Rob Zastryzny will take the mound for Team Canada.

On the other side, Mariners manager Scott Servais will give the ball to veteran lefty Marco Gonzales, in Gonzales' second start of the spring. Gonzales will face a Canadian lineup, led by Freddie Freeman, that put up seven runs on Wednesday.
