Starting Lineups, Starting Pitchers for Boston Red Sox vs. Milwaukee Brewers Game Sunday
The Boston Red Sox (11-11) and Milwaukee Brewers (15-6) will wrap up a three-game series at Miller Park Sunday at 2:10 p.m. ET.
The Red Sox took game one on Friday 5-3. Milwaukee recovered Saturday with a 5-4 victory, setting the stage for a rubber match on Sunday.
Brayan Bello (0-1, 16.88 ERA) will make his second start of the season Sunday for the Red Sox. Bello was rocked by the Los Angeles Angels in his first start, allowing five runs off eight hits, one walk and a home run in 2.2 innings pitched. Bello was unable to get out of the third inning, as manager Alex Cora made an early call to the pen. He will try to improve upon his first start, in hopes of delivering a series win for Boston.
2021 National League Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes (2-1, 4.76 ERA) will take the mound for the Brewers Sunday. Burnes is off to a slow start in 2023. In his first two starts of the season, Burnes allowed 10 runs off 11 hits, two walks and two home runs over 9.1 innings pitched. Burnes will try for a series win Sunday.
