Starting Lineups, Starting Pitchers for New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins Game Tuesday
The New York Yankees (13-10) and Minnesota Twins (13-10) will play game two of a three-game series Tuesday night at 7:40 p.m. ET at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Yankees look to even the series after falling to the Twins 6-1 in Monday's opener. Ex-Yankees Sonny Gray and Joey Gallo burned their former team, as Gallo blasted a solo home run and Gray tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits. Gray currently leads Major League Baseball with a 0.62 ERA.
Nestor Cortes (3-0, 3.09 ERA) will try to pick up another win Tuesday night when he takes the mound for the Yankees. Cortes is off to a strong start, building off his All-Star season in 2022.
Joe Ryan (4-0, 3.24 ERA) looks to remain unbeaten Tuesday, as he starts for the Twins. Neither Ryan or Cortes has been saddled with a loss in 2023.
