Starting Lineups, Starting Pitchers for San Diego Padres vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Game Sunday
The San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks will close out a four-game series Sunday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. ET at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Padres took two of the first three games of the series, and are going for a series victory Sunday. The club is has quickly seen an uptick in offense since Fernando Tatis Jr. made his return to the diamond Thursday night, following an 80-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs. San Diego enters Sunday 11-12, with an opportunity to return to .500.
Arizona has been one of baseball's most pleasant surprises of the season's first month. The club leads the National League West with a 12-10 record, one game up on the Los Angeles Dodgers entering play Sunday. The Diamondbacks have won five division titles since their inaugural 1998 season, but have not won the NL West since 2011.
Yu Darvish (0-2, 3.44 ER) will take the mound for the Padres, hoping to pick up his first win of the season. Rookie Drey Jameson (2-0, 2.25 ERA) will start for the Diamondbacks.
