Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who is in Las Vegas, Nev., visited UFC CEO Dana White during his promotional duties for Saturday afternoon's junior middleweight fight between Conor Benn and Peter Dobson.

Hearn and White have met in the past, but speaking to The Mac Life Thursday, the British promoter said the conversation between him and White left him in awe of the UFC's business.

"I look at Dana and I look at the UFC, and I think, 'That is just the most incredible business.' I go to the performance center," Hearn said. "And I go into his office. He takes me into his own gym that he's got there, his own recovery center. And I'm like, 'This is where I want to be.' And there's nothing wrong with that."

Hearn said he has told his team to continue to follow what the UFC is doing, stating that Matchroom is the closest version to the MMA promotion in the boxing space.

"That energy he gives me and that information and that time, I never take for granted," Hearn said when discussing White's impact. "And he's always done that for me and I appreciate that. Selfishly, it's good for me, because when you think you might get a little bit complacent, you walk in there and go, 'Oh my god. Have we got a lot in the office. I got a nice gym. He's got two treadmills. We've got a sauna and a small little old plunge.' Jesus."

White has hinted at getting involved in boxing in the past, but it is unclear if and when that will happen, if ever. Hearn says that White's expertise is his biggest help and wants to keep pushing DAZN and Matchroom to greater heights moving forward.

"We are the closest thing to the UFC in boxing, no doubt," Hearn said. "But, it's a huge business."

Benn vs. Dobson kicks off on DAZN at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT from The Chelsea at Cosmopolitan.
