“Problem Child” last competed in August when he defeated former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz via unanimous decision in Dallas, Texas. That matchup marked Diaz’s first foray into boxing, and it also saw Paul get back into the win column after he suffered the first loss of his career when he took on Tommy Fury back in February.
Things have been relatively quiet since the Diaz fight regarding Paul’s next combat sports outing, but now the 26-year-old has announced that he’ll return to the boxing ring on December 15.

Paul didn't announce an opponent to go along with his return date, but Most Valuable Promotions quickly followed his post by claiming that a name would be revealed after women’s boxing champion Amanda Serrano faces Danila Ramos on October 27.
“Problem Child” featured in plenty of combat sports headlines last week when his brother Logan returned to the boxing ring to take on Dillon Danis. Logan ended up winning that lackluster affair via disqualification after Danis attempted a guillotine choke in the final round, causing a melee to break out between the two corners.
That event also saw Tommy Fury win a decision over KSI, who has long been rumored as a potential opponent for Jake after he previously boxed Logan twice.
A matchup with KSI would undoubtedly still draw a significant amount of attention, but Paul’s considerable success in the boxing ring against former MMA fighters could also see him face another big name from that discipline ahead of his own MMA debut for the PFL that is expected to take place next year.
