Conor McGregor Sends Blunt Message Following Logan Paul's DQ Win Over Dillon Danis
Despite having not competed in over two-and-a-half years, former UFC double-champion Conor McGregor couldn't resist joining in on the spectacle that was Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis, which took place Saturday in England.
McGregor, who's coming off back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264, is still recovering from the gruesome leg injury he suffered in the Poirier trilogy bout. He entered the USADA testing pool last week despite the UFC's split with the organization, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

As such, McGregor is Danis' teammate, and therefore, McGregor went ham when he tweeted and deleted (or X'ed) his thoughts about the fight in a series of messages and voice notes.
"I was impressed by Dillon Danis," McGregor said (H/T Talksport).
That wasn't all McGregor said about the fight, as he fired a scathing blow against Paul and his performance.
"You were in a dark spot?" McGregor said. "Guess what mate, you're back in a dark spot now, back into the locker room... thinking about all the s*** you've been going through, you're still in a dark spot, you done nothing, up the crew!"
McGregor elaborated further about Danis and his performance, saying the fight was closer than people may remember.
"Are you not entertained," McGregor asked. "I was impressed, good shots, [Danis] needs to believe in his shots more and more and let them go, some of them were alright."
It is unknown when McGregor may return to the Octagon, but given the stakes of his career, a likely date is April 2024 for UFC 300.
