There appears to be mixed reports on the injury status of one huge AEW star.

Recently, AEW founder Tony Khan admitted that injuries and "unexpected availability" impacted the booking of last night's Dynamite show. He admitted that it was one of the most "hectic" situations from a matchmaking aspect since the pandemic era.

Many fans thought the matter was made worse when one former champion was favoring his ankle during the February 21st episode of AEW Dynamite.

Well, as it turns out there are mixed reports on whether or not that particular "injury" is legit.

AEW News: Former WWE Champion Due In Court For Trial Amid Criminal Charge

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez were having a discussion as if Hangman Adam Page suffered a legitimate ankle injury. Meltzer went as far as to say that he heard the injury could be a broken ankle. Dave said he heard from someone at ringside that Hangman "basically" said he thought he had a broken ankle.

That claim has now been challenged, as Fightful Select reports that Page is said to be "fine." One talent even told the outlet that Hangman is simply good at his job. So, depending on who you ask, Hangman's "injury" is either real or it was just good selling from the former AEW World Champion.

Page is scheduled to be featured in a Three-way Match for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution on March 3. He'll be sharing the ring with Swerve Strickland and current AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

It won't be long to find out who has the right information.
