AEW Revolution 2024: Latest Update On Ticket Sales For Sting's Retirement Match
A new update on AEW Revolution 2024 ticket sales has surfaced.
This year's Revolution pay-per-view figures to give AEW a much-needed boost in terms of attendance. While viewership for the promotion's flagship show AEW Dynamite has held steady, the crowd draws have not been nearly as hot as they once were.
Luckily for the company founded by Tony Khan, the final match in the illustrious career of Sting seems to have jolted ticket sales for AEW Revolution.
Elimination Chamber 2024: Huge WWE Championship Match Added To Show In Perth
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has reported that 15,910 tickets are out for AEW's next pay-per-view event. This year's Revolution show will be held inside the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. AEW fans have been craving for a red hot crowd in a packed arena, and it looks like that's exactly what they'll be getting on March 3.
Sting is one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, along with Darby Allin. The two will put their gold at stake against The Young Bucks. The storyline here is that both Matthew & Nicholas Jackson viciously attacked Sting and Darby right after their tag team title victory on an episode of Dynamite earlier this month. The Young Bucks also attacked Sting's sons.
AEW Revolution 2024 is also set to feature a Three-way Match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship featuring titleholder Samoa Joe, Hangman Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland. The status of this bout is seemingly up in the air, however, as F4W's Bryan Alvarez has claimed that Hangman is dealing with a personal matter, so he sold an ankle injury during a recent Dynamite show in the event that he's unable to perform.
Keep in mind, Meltzer and Alvarez were initially told that Page's injury appeared to be legit, which was debunked by Fightful.
