Conor McGregor Reveals Most Frustrating Part Of Recent UFC Skid
Conor McGregor hasn't had the best luck inside the Octagon as of late, and one aspect of it has gotten under the Irishman's skin.
McGregor is serving as a coach for season 31 of "The Ultimate Fighter." The opposing coach is Michael Chandler, setting the stage for a clash between the two at some point. UFC President Dana White is hoping to book the fight before the end of the year now that McGregor will be re-entering the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) testing pool.
When the "Notorious" one returns to the Octagon, he'll hope to score his first win since early 2020. McGregor has dropped his last two outings and hasn't fought since 2021 after suffering a broken tibia and fibula against Dustin Poirier.

During an interview with Megan Olivi, which was featured on the UFC's YouTube channel, McGregor detailed what has been the most frustrating part of his recent string of misfortune.
"What do I hope for in this world, Megan? I hope for 100 more fights," McGregor said. "I hope for consistency, I hope for a run. I've had this on-off, on-off for the last while and I just wanna get this nice consistency going, and I'm hoping now when I come back this is where it's at."
McGregor went on to say that the inactivity has led to some trying times as an athlete.
"If we can get to where I need to get to, three or four a year is perfect," McGregor said. "One is madness, and it's been one, one, one. One year off, one on, one year off, and then obviously with the leg it's been a bit longer. So, it is what it is."
