During an interview with Oscar Willis for The Mac Life, UFC President Dana White went off on the production team that put together the coaches challenge.
"I'm gonna tell you this, it was a huge, huge f****** clusterf*** by the production team that shot this thing," White said. "Completely f****** irresponsible, completely a s***show, and both of them could've been hurt during this. It was f****** ridiculous what happened during the coaches challenge."
White recalled hopping in an ice bath set to 37 degrees in New York for seven minutes. He was baffled and beyond perturbed by the length of the coaches challenge.
"Dangerous, stupid, irresponsible, and just completely f****** ridiculous on the part of the production crew that handled the coaches challenge," White said. "I was literally f****** pissed off. Disgusting, won't happen again."
McGregor and Chandler are expected to fight each other at some point. McGregor has teased moving on from Chandler in favor of a bout against Justin Gaethje. Dana White recently confirmed that Chandler remains McGregor's next opponent. The "Notorious" one's return date is still a mystery.
