Fans Concerned for Nate Diaz as Leaked Boxing Sparring Footage Emerges Ahead of Jake Paul Showdown

Fan sentiment for Nate Diaz is dwindling with this sparring footage.

Fans are concerned for Nate Diaz, as 'leaked' sparring footage has emerged ahead of his August 5 clash with influencer Jake Paul.

Footage was posted on July 13 on Twitter, with the caption "Leaked footage of Nate Diaz sparring 30-1 pro Esquiva Falcao last month," but many fans have been keen to point out that this isn't the case.

It would appear the footage has been misinterpreted, and that Falcao is the one holding the camera, and Diaz is boxing (and struggling against) a complete novice.

One user remarked, "That's Esquiva talking, not sparring. He is filming. You can hear he is saying "this guy (Nate) is a bad boxer. The guy in black is a beginner, he never fought. [Amateur] nor pro."

Another commented, "The dude recording is speaking Portuguese... he literally said: 'the guy in black, with the black gloves, is bad. He never fought professionally or [amateur]'. So... he is no pro boxer."

"Not a pro boxer. Said this dude isn't a fighter in the recording," one user explained.

Whilst many users may have been deceived by the misleading caption, the sentiment surrounding Diaz leading up to the fight is still overly negative. Many users shared the same opinions: "This isn't going to end well for Nate," "Nate should never box," "Probably standing TKO for Jake."

One thing is certain: Diaz would shock the world with a victory. He has repeatedly demonstrated this ability before, however, such as his submission of Conor McGregor and by rocking Leon Edwards in the final moments of their fight. So fight fans can eagerly anticipate the showdown on august 5.
