Francis Ngannou Rips BKFC President David Feldman: "I Never Talked To That Guy"
Former UFC Champion and newly-signed PFL fighter Francis Ngannou has slammed BKFC founder David Feldman over claims he made during his free agency period.
Ngannou became a free agent back in January. "The Predator" and the UFC couldn't come to terms on a new deal. Ngannou was the UFC Heavyweight Champion at the time.
During the free agency process, a couple of promoters spoke out, claiming that Ngannou was asking for too much. One of those promoters was Feldman. Back in April, the BKFC boss claimed that his promotion reached out to "The Predator." Feldman told reporters during the BKFC 41 post-fight press conference that Ngannou's asking price was "unrealistic."

Ngannou appeared on an episode of MMAFighting's "The MMA Hour" and he put Feldman on blast, claiming his team never spoke to him or BKFC.
"I just think he assumed that I'm so expensive, obviously, because he had to take a loan of his house to put on his show," Ngannou said. "Then, I think he assumed that loan couldn't pay me because I never spoke to him. My team never spoke to him, and then when I saw he's coming, I'm like, 'Where's this guy coming from?' Then, I checked my phone, I called my team, I'm like, 'Do somebody talk with this guy that I'm not aware of?'"
Ngannou went on to say that all Feldman tried to do was get some buzz for BKFC off his name.
"I'm like, 'This guy is just a joke,'" Ngannou said. "At some point, he was promoting his show, his event. He's gonna do anything, take a little bit of PR here and there, everything that he can do, but I never talked to that guy. We never asked him anything, and he never even reached out."
Ngannou also said that he had no interest in BKFC during his free agency.
