Henry Cejudo has a brutally honest take on the relationship between Aljamain Sterling and the UFC.

Sterling's bantamweight championship reign came to an end at UFC 292. "Funk Master" suffered a second-round TKO loss to Sean O'Malley inside TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. With the defeat, Sterling's record-setting bantamweight run concluded.

While many agree that Sterling is deserving of an immediate rematch, most doubt he'll get the chance. That's because Sterling and the UFC have had a rocky relationship.

In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Henry Cejudo theorized that the UFC simply never viewed Aljo in high regard.

"They don't care about Aljamain Sterling, they really don't," Cejudo said. "This isn't a sting at you, Aljamain. I just don't think the UFC really saw you as a marketing tool. You got wins over great competitors, but there was something that was missing with you, and I think it's only for you to kind of know or the UFC or whatever the fact that was going on. I will say this, you are a competitor. I was in there with you firsthand. You were able to steal certain rounds, I'll give them to you, but are you the full package? Will the UFC literally give you a rematch with somebody who just stopped you?"

Sterling hasn't committed to what he will be doing next. He recently said that depending on how things shake out, he could either have one or two more fights at bantamweight before moving up to featherweight, or he could go straight to 145 pounds. The former 135-pound kingpin said he doesn't want anyone to jump to conclusions on his future plans.
