Carriel was booked to make his promotional debut at BRAVE CF 74 opposite the also unbeaten Eliezar Kubanza, but when Kubanza withdrew from the matchup Rakotondrazanany was brought in as a replacement opponent.
The two men were scheduled to kick off the main card of BRAVE CF 74, and Carriel took advantage of the spotlight when he landed an incredible switch kick just two minutes into the fight.

The dynamic technique put Rakotondrazanany flat on the canvas as Carriel dove in to finish things, but he only needed to land one follow-up hammer fist before the referee ran over to save “Panda” from further punishment.
Carriel made his pro debut with a second-round submission in 2017, but unfortunately a first-round knockout in 2021 was the only other time he competed in MMA before returning earlier this year with another finish to bring his record to 3-0.
The brutal knockout was a fantastic way to kick off BRAVE CF 74, and the promotion will likely be eager to rebook that matchup with Kubanza now that Carriel has matched the Congolese fighter’s 4-0 record with four finishes.
