The French promotion recently co-promoted with Bahrain’s BRAVE CF for an event in Nantes, France, and Morel and Touré were given the honors of kicking off the Hexagone main card with their heavyweight matchup.
Morel put himself on the radar of combat sports fans when he pulled off a sensational spinning elbow knockout in his debut at Hexagone MMA 10 in July, and against Touré the French heavyweight collected another highlight-reel finish (video courtesy of the one and only @Grabaka_Hitman) early in the second round.

Touré was pursuing a takedown against the fence before being forced back towards the center of the cage, and Morel took advantage of a brief clinch to land a massive knee that floored his opponent.
“Big” immediately ran towards Touré to land what would have been a brutal follow-up punch, but the referee threw himself in front of the unbeaten heavyweight and quickly waved the fight off.
Morel’s incredible knockout ended up setting the tone for the rest of the Hexagone 11 main card, which featured a total of five finishes out of six scheduled bouts.
