Sean O'Malley Gets Brutally Honest On Michael Chandler Waiting For Conor McGregor
Sean O'Malley wonders what Michael Chandler will do as the wait for a Conor McGregor fight continues.
Chandler continues to hold out hope for a showdown with "Mystic Mac," but some believe the bout will never happen. UFC President Dana White revealed to media members that he was looking to book McGregor vs. Chandler by the end of 2023.
That idea was thrashed when McGregor failed to re-enter the USADA testing pool before the deadline to return to action this year.
Still, Chandler has said that he feels a clash against McGregor will eventually come to fruition. Chandler has been called out by the likes of Eddie Alvarez and Matt Frevola during his wait.

When the topic of whether Chandler should keep waiting or take another fight was brought up, Sean O'Malley gave his honest take on the situation. Here's what he had to say in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
"It's tricky 'cause you wait for McGregor to fight and you get that fight it's crazy, or you risk it, go take another fight, lose and then it's definitely not happening," O'Malley said. "He's getting older, so we'll see."
Chandler is 37 years old and has been through the trenches perhaps even more than most fighters due to his style. The 31-fight veteran is clearly hoping to take in a massive payday against McGregor for himself and his family.
Time will tell if patience runs thin.
