Sean O'Malley's Honest Take On Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz: "It's A Different Sport"
Top-ranked UFC bantamweight Sean O'Malley has dropped his two cents on the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz boxing match.
Paul and Diaz are scheduled to collide inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on August 5. Paul brings with him a pro boxing record of 6-1. Diaz has had 34 pro MMA fights, but this will be his first pro boxing match.

During an episode of the "BrOMalley Show," O'Malley discussed the Paul vs. Diaz matchup. He feels that on paper, "The Problem Child" has a clear advantage.
"I had seen a recent video of Jake hitting mitts, looking f***ing powerful, boom, boom, boom, pretty sharp on the mitts," O'Malley said. "Then, you see Nate hitting mitts and it's just kind of like slower. Dustin [Poirier] explained it pretty well. He's got really good boxing for MMA, but dude, it's a different sport."
The next UFC bantamweight title contender admitted that it's hard to judge the experience factor given that Diaz has actually boxed in the gym longer than Paul has. With that said, O'Malley feels the size difference could play a big role in the outcome of the fight.
"It's hard to say though, 'cause Nate's been boxing longer than Jake, for sure," O'Malley said. "Even just straight boxing. When that motherf***** spars I bet he straight boxes for most of his career, but Jake just looks big."
As far as a prediction goes, O'Malley thinks he has a good idea who will emerge victorious on fight night.
"I think I'm leaning more and more towards Jake, dude," O'Malley said. "I really am."
