Matt "The Steamrolla" Frevola has his sights set on a clash with Paddy Pimblett for UFC 295 at the MSG arena in New York.

Frevola took to the 'Morning Kombat' podcast on September 13, where he openly discussed his plans to fight the British superstar this year:
"People have been counting me out my entire career," Frevola recounts fans having no faith in him to win his last three bouts. "...It's kind of weird being on the other side and everybody's saying 'this guy is scared of me.'
"...[Pimblett] is on a four fight win streak," Frevola lauded his rival. "He's got three finishes and he's got a lot of hype. And he's a good fighter, man."
Whilst Frevola doesn't know if the UFC wants to book him against Pimblett, he does know that Pimblett wants to fight him and UFC 295 would be a viable venue:
"The UFC has told me nothing yet," Frevola revealed. "...It looks like Paddy's training for a fight --- looks like he's going to be ready by the end of the year.
"...[Pimblett] says I'm the easiest route to the top-15, and I love that he thinks that because that's what everyone thinks."
Frevola refers to remarks made by Pimblett in an Instagram post from May where the Brit responded to "The Steamrolla's" UFC 288 callout:
"Bit of a weird time to call me out when I can't even train. But yeah I'd fight Frevola when I'm back probably the easiest route into the top-15."
Despite the MSG talk, Pimblett is also open to fighting Frevola at the 02 Arena in London, "After a 10-month layoff, I think I'm going to have a fight to get back into the swing of things," Pimblett told TNT Sports. "Then you never know, see if Frevola wants to come to the 02 in March."

If he could fight Pimblett at the MSG arena, Frevola believes "it would be electric." For now, fans will have to eagerly await Pimblett's recovery before "The Steamrolla" can have his opportunity.
