VIDEO: Sean O'Malley Stops Aljamain Sterling In Spectacular Fashion At UFC 292

The bantamweight title fight that capped off UFC 292 is over.

UFC 292 is history, which means the bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O'Malley is over.

Sterling and O'Malley collided inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on August 19. The "Funk Master" was looking to extend his record for the most successful consecutive UFC Bantamweight Championship defenses. Meanwhile, O'Malley hoped to win his first UFC title.

Sterling immediately threw out some kicks to keep O'Malley on his toes. A leg kick was there for Aljo. A jab landed for O'Malley. Sterling got in some leg kicks. It was clear that O'Malley was being patient and looking for a counter punch. Sterling grabbed a hold of a leg late in the round, but O'Malley avoided being taken down with his back against the cage.

O'Malley found his back against the fence, but he got out of there quickly. O'Malley finally found his counter punch, dropping the "Funk Master" with a right hand. He landed a barrage of ground-and-pound and while referee Marc Goddard had a long leash, he eventually stopped the fight.
