The highly-anticipated main event saw Aljamain Sterling attempt to defend his bantamweight title for a fourth time against Sean O’Malley.

“Funk Master” entered the night as a sizeable favorite for the first time since he became champion, but after he and O'Malley took the opening round to get a feel for one another it was "Sugar" who claimed the bantamweight title with a second-round TKO.

The UFC’s strawweight title was on the line in the co-main event when Weili Zhang kicked off her second reign as champion in a matchup with Amanda Lemos.

Zhang’s well-rounded skillset and success in the UFC against everyone not named Rose Namajunas had her favored to defend her title, and although Lemos showed off some incredible toughness she ended up losing a lopsided decision.
