Sean O'Malley was watching UFC 289 and his live reaction to Charles Oliveira's TKO win was filmed.

Oliveira and Beneil Dariush mixed it up in the co-main event of UFC 289. The two collided inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada this past Saturday night (June 10).

This one had potential title implications. Dariush insisted that he was guaranteed a title shot with a win over Oliveira. As for "do Bronx," he said that a win over Dariush should seal the deal for a rematch with the lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

Ultimately, it was Oliveira who had his hand raised. An onslaught of strikes sent Dariush crashing down to the canvas. A few follow-up punches on the ground and the fight was stopped in the first round.

O'Malley was watching the UFC 289 PPV broadcast and filmed his reactions for his YouTube channel. Here, he reacts to Oliveira's first-round finish over Dariush:

O'Malley had some immediate comments after Oliveira's impressive finish. The "Suga" show wants to see Oliveira take on the current UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev in a rematch.

"That dude is good," O'Malley said. "Charles vs. Islam, I want the rematch. He just got Beneil out of there in the first round."

Makhachev submitted Oliveira in the second round of their 155-pound title fight back in October 2022. Oliveira insists that he wasn't the best version of himself on that night.
