WWE Drops Bombshell CM Punk Announcement Ahead Of WrestleMania 40
A big-time announcement regarding CM Punk has been made by WWE.
Punk is unable to perform inside the ring during WrestleMania 40, but that doesn't mean "The Second City Saint" can't be a part of the festivities. Fans of Punk will indeed get a chance to see him in Philadelphia this year.
CM Punk, welcome to WWE World.
WWE 2K24: Fans Scolded For Racist Remarks Towards Cover Star Bianca Belair
WWE announced that the former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion will be inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center on April 7th for WWE World. It's the same day as night two of WrestleMania on Sunday.
Fans will be granted access to a CM Punk Meet and Greet with VIP tickets. Punk joins a long list of notable WWE talent such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Pat McAfee, and Charlotte Flair who will be attending WWE World.
Punk suffered a torn triceps injury during the men's Royal Rumble match earlier this year. Things went awry for Punk when he took Drew McIntyre's Future Shock DDT. WWE has since been playing up the injury in storyline with McIntyre taking credit for Punk's absence in a marquee WrestleMania match.
"The Best in The World" is advertised for the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw on April 1st. That show will emanate from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
