CM Punk News: Colossal Update On Monday Night Raw Star Ahead Of WrestleMania 40

CM Punk fans will surely like this.

There is a significant update on CM Punk as we draw closer to WrestleMania 40.

Punk was expected to be in a marquee match at the biggest wrestling show of the year, but plans went awry. Punk suffered an injury during the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match. He will not be able to compete in the ring for the next few months due to a torn triceps injury.

With that said, it looks like fans may be seeing "The Best in the World" in some capacity real soon.

WWE is advertising CM Punk for the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw on April 1st, which will be held inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. That is just five days before night one of WrestleMania 40.

It'll be interesting to see if Punk does indeed appear on TV for that episode. If he does, then it's safe to say he'll be running into the 2024 men's Elimination Chamber winner Drew McIntrye. Drew has been poking fun at Punk over his injury and taking credit for it. McIntyre will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, a spot that is heavily rumored to have initially been for Punk.

There's no word on whether or not CM Punk will have a role during WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. While "The Voice of the Voiceless" may not be able to wrestle, his gift of gab and star power may lead to some on-air work on "The Grandest Stage of Them All." Punk was most recently seen on WWE TV serving as a desk analyst for the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event.
