WWE is well aware of the fan response to Dwayne Johnson seemingly taking Cody Rhodes' spot against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The Rock finally responded to the backlash in a hilarious promo cut on "The Pat McAfee Show."
The Rock said he acknowledges and respects fans of "The American Nightmare," but he took issue with those who obsess over the situation on social media. Johnson went as far as to call the toxic section of the fanbase, "Cody Crybabies."
In anticipation of the Las Vegas presser, the WWE Raw commentary team of Cole and McAfee put emphasis on the fact that the WrestleMania 40 main event has not been decided. The WWE Universe will finally get an answer tonight.
Hours before the kickoff presser, back-to-back Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes dropped a massive tease on social media. He let fans know that he has already made his decision on who he will be facing at WrestleMania 40.
