It's another edition of WWE SmackDown, and this will be the go-home edition ahead of this Saturday's Elimination Chamber 2024 show.

Before the actions spills over in Perth, there is the go-home episode of WWE SmackDown to get to.

WWE News: Colossal Superstar Returns To WWE SmackDown After Elimination Chamber

On this week's Friday Night SmackDown, you can expect to see a video package replaying last week's episode in Salt Lake City where The Rock officially joined the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Dwayne Johnson vowed to ensure that Cody Rhodes doesn't walk out of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA, the home of WrestleMania 40, with Roman's title.

Also set for tonight's WWE programming will be two participants in the men's Elimination Chamber match, as Drew McIntyre goes one-on-one with LA Knight. Liv Morgan and Tiffany Stratton, two combatants on the female side of the Chamber match, will also go toe-to-toe.

Plus, The Street Profits will collide with Authors of Pain, but that won't be the only tag team match tonight. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, who will be challenging Damian Priest and Finn Balor for all the men's tag team hardware tomorrow night, will take on Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.

We also can't forget the WWE SmackDown debut of former two-time NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

WWE SmackDown Results (February 23, 2024)

SmackDown began showing LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, and Tiffany Stratton entering the arena. Bianca Belair then officially kicked off the show, making her way out as a special guest commentator. During Bianca's entrance, a video package played hyping up the Women's Elimination Chamber match.

Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton

Stratton tried making her exit early, but Liv threw her into the barricade. Stratton was turning the tide, but Liv landed a backstabber. A Crucifix Driver landed for Morgan as we went into the first commercial break of the evening.

Liv nailed Tiffany with a middle rope Codebreaker, but Stratton kicked out. Tiffany answered with a spinebuster. Stratton went for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but no one was home.

Liv landed a Powerbomb on Tiffany with Stratton perched on the top rope. The action spilled outside. Tiffany slapped Bianca, who tried getting revenge. This distracted the referee, who didn't initially see Liv pinning her opponent. Stratton shoved Liv into Bianca, knocking her off the apron. Tiffany rolled up Liv for the three-count.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

Backstage, Drew McIntyre said if he can't win the men's Elimination Chamber match, then his career is as useless as CM Punk's WWE return. Bobby Lashley interrupted Drew, reminding him of how their WrestleMania 37 match ended.

A vignette aired of the newly formed tag team of Cedric Alexander and Ashante "Thee" Adonis. Cedric was not having any fashion luck until he finally found the look that Ashante approved of. Cedric wasn't exactly feeling it.

After the video was done, SmackDown commentators Corey Graves and Wade Barrett briefly discussed what happened on WWE Raw this past Monday night, as well as The Rock officially joining The Bloodline on SmackDown last week before a recap played.

Jimmy Uso was backstage with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Roman asked Jimmy who sent him to Raw to cost Jey Uso his WWE Intercontinental Title match with GUNTHER. Jimmy said it was Paul Heyman, but Reigns took credit for calling the play, and said Jimmy ran it to perfection.

Heyman then alerted Roman that Grayson Waller was in the building.

Bron Breakker vs. Dante Chen

Bron ate a dropkick early, which didn't have much impact as he landed a shoulder block. Bron showed his explosiveness, bouncing off the ropes and landing a lariat. Chen went for a springboard crossbody, but Bron caught him and slammed him down before hitting the Spear for the three.

Winner: Bron Breakker

The Judgment Day had an interview with Kayla Braxton. Damian Priest said that once Dominik Mysterio and JDΒ McDonaghΒ are done with Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, then he and Finn Balor will only need to "pick the bones" at Elimination Chamber.

Backstage, Legado Del Fantasma attacked Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. Santos Escobar warned this was only the beginning before Carlito and Zelina Vega intervened.

Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate vs. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh

Bate and McDonagh started things off. Bate landed a monkey flip and tagged in Dunne. The two double teamed McDonagh before Bate tagged back in. Bate knocked Dominik off the apron, but McDonagh pulled his hair to drive him down.

With Dunne and Mysterio the legal men in the ring, "The Bruiserweight" went to town on Dom's fingers and ankle. Bate was tagged in and looked to capitalize, but McDonagh pulled the top rope down, sending Bate to the outside, while Dom knocked Dunne off the apron.

Dominik went for Three Amigos, but Bate cut him off with his own Suplex. Dunne and McDonagh were tagged in, and Dunne landed step-up enzuigiris to both JD and Dom. He then hit a German Suplex on McDonagh.

Both JD and Dom received Airplane Spins from Bate, who tagged Dunne back in. McDonagh landed a Spanish Fly after a series of counters, but only got a two-count. JD went up top for a Moonsault, but Dunne got his knees up.

Dunne snapped the fingers of JD before Bate was tagged back in and pinned JD off a double team.

The Street Profits vs. Authors of Pain

Montez Ford was getting outpowered by AOP early on. Angelo Dawkins got the tag and landed a dropkick, but once again the numbers game played a factor. With both members of AOP on the outside, Dawkins took out his opponents with a senton.

AOP was back in control at the break, but Dawkins made the hot tag and was on a roll against Akam. AOP would land Final Chapter on Dawkins, but Ford broke up the pin. A huge blockbuster landed for Ford with Akam being lifted by Dawkins.Β

The referee was distracted by Scarlett, and Karrion Kross shoved Ford off the top rope. B-Fab attacked Scarlett, while Lashley went after Kross. With Lashley arm against the post, Kross hit Lashley's arm with a chait. AOP then hit their Sit-Out Powerbomb Neckbreaker finisher on Ford for the win.

Winners: Authors of Pain

Dakota was being checked on by medical staff. Dakota claimed Damage CTRL attacked her, and Bayley was finally starting to believe Kai. Will it eventually backfire?

Highlights from the WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 Press Event played.

Roman Reigns was introduced to Grayson Waller. Reigns said he wanted to tell Waller something, but it was for his ears only. The cameras then transitioned to Elimination Chamber match graphics.

Two matches were announced for next week's episode of SmackDown. Bayley and Dakota Kai will take on The Kabuki Warriors, while Carlito and Santos Escobar do battle in a Street Fight.

Lashley had his arm taped backstage. McIntyre approached Bobby and said he'll pray for him.

LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre

Right before the match began, Logan Paul made his way out for the commentary desk. Paul was not happy about the WWE Universe booing him, and he stood up on the barricade to taunt them.

Meanwhile in the ring, Knight landed a clothesline off the top rope. He then stomped Drew in the corner. McIntyre was paying attention to Paul, which allowed LA Knight to capitalize. Drew planted Knight on the outside with a belly-to-belly.

Kevin Owens then made his way out and joined commentary as well.

Drew chopped Knight in the corner. Knight blocked strikes and landed some punches of his own. An Atomic Drop landed for Knight, followed by a DDT for a two-count. Paul and KO were going back-and-forth on commentary.
