One top WWE SmackDown talent has responded to reports of an injury.

It was recently reported that a very important figure on WWE programming was hurt and underwent surgery. That report was later updated to reveal that the injured star in question won't be missing any of his prior obligations on TV.

Now, the Friday Night SmackDown presence has responded to that claim.

WWE News: Another Major On-Air Talent Reportedly Suffers Injury Before WrestleMania XL

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis took to his X account to confirm PWInsider's report.

Aldis didn't seem too pleased that news of his injury got out to the public as quickly as it did. With that said, it's certainly good news for WWE knowing that the boss of the blue brand won't be missing any time in front of the cameras amid WrestleMania season.

Now that Aldis is cleared to at least continue to appear on WWE SmackDown, it'll be interesting to see if he'll have a role during WrestleMania 40 next month in a segment or perhaps even the Kickoff show.

As of late, there has been some tension between Nick Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. The two have been complaining about stars from both shows crossing over without invitations. Aldis has even had some issues with members of his own roster, as he and WWE United States Champion Logan Paul have not seen eye-to-eye to say the least.

MMA Knockout would like to once again wish Nick Aldis all the best during his recovery.
