Alexander Volkanovski can't seem to get his head wrapped around Henry Cejudo's latest decision.

The former two-division UFC Champion returns on Volkanovski's undercard this Saturday at UFC 298. Cejudo attempts to rebound to title contention vs. Merab Dvalishvili after falling short against past champ Aljamain Sterling.

Cejudo is leaving no stone unturned ahead of what he has said could be his final fight, should he lose to 'The Machine.' The UFC bantamweight's biggest change this fight camp was splitting from his longtime coach Eric Albarracin.

“For this camp, I’m getting rid of specific coaches, man. That’s you included," Cejudo told Albarracin on an episode of 'UFC Countdown'. "Sometimes you are too close to somebody and people just get too comfortable."

'Triple C' is taking a lot of heat for breaking the bad news on camera, rather than behind closed doors. Volkanovski had a hard time believing Cejudo would do such a thing.

"Is that legit or what?" Volkanovski told The Mac Life. "Like I wonder, is this like some weird way of marketing of... I just don't get it. In front of the cameras, it's just so weird.

"I thought it looked like [real], yeah, [Albarracin] was like taking it in. But I mean, I just don't get it. I mean, you are an absolute prick if you were doing that and just thought this would be good content, 'I'm gonna make the most of this' and go out and do that."

Volkanovski continued, not approving of the controversial decision at all.

"Henry, if this is legit, you are a piece of s***. Lemme tell you that right now. That's crazy to me. That's why I don't believe it. I mean, I don't think he's that much of a s*** bag to do that. I don't think he is."

Alexander Volkanovski might not be a media member, but the UFC Featherweight Champion considers asking Cejudo about the hot topic at their upcoming press conference on Thursday.

"I will ask him, I'll go, 'Are you serious? Surely you're taking the piss,'" Volkanovski added. "You know what I mean? Like, I don't get it. I really don't get it. It's crazy to me. I don't know, man. Maybe he's just so all about himself, full of himself. He doesn't care about anyone around him. Maybe. I don't know."
