UFC Star Sean Strickland Recalls What Made Him Snap on ‘Vampire’ Machine Gun Kelly
Sean Strickland had one heck of a weekend.
Not only did the former UFC Middleweight Champion meet former president Donald Trump, but he also handled streamer Sneako in a sparring beatdown before nearly getting into another fight entirely with musician Machine Gun Kelly.
UFC News: Sean Strickland Destroys Influencer in Brutal Beatdown
On Friday, the American rapper was among celebrities in attendance for the latest Power Slap event in Las Vegas. There, Kelly was greeted by Strickland, who doesn't tend to hold back in his comments.
The two were eventually separated after a verbal altercation. On his YouTube channel, Strickland broke down what happened from his point of view.
"I met some good people. Cowboy [Cerrone] was there. I met a vampire, apparently guy dating Megan Fox," Strickland said of meeting MGK. "You had some Transformers with a broken down car. I don't know what happened to Megan Fox, but something happened to Megan Fox.
"I don't know who did it, but I wanna find that man. I wanna have a conversation with him 'cause me and you, dude, we're not cool. I meet this vampire like, 'Dude, you wake up every day and you dress like a vampire'. I don't know if he does or doesn't. Maybe just a wardrobe. But dude, you dress like a vampire man. You look like the goth kid on South Park. And you go out in the world like this, like this only happens because you are in an insulated bubble."
As you may already know, Strickland isn't a fan of influencers. After sparring with Sneako, 'Tarzan' turned his sights onto potentially fighting other social media sensations like Jake Paul and Bryce Hall.
UFC News: Sean Strickland Called Out By Another Influencer After Sneako Beatdown
Strickland puts MGK into the same category as them, wanting to humble the rapper after their strange encounter.
"You guys don't understand these people at these slap fights, they're not people, they're influencers," Strickland continued. "I interact with hundreds of people. I go snowboarding. No fan ever has anything bad to say man, because I love you guys. But these people are not you guys.
"They are like– I can't explain it until you interact with these people and you're around them, it's like they have this weird god complex and it's just like when I'm around them, I just want to hurt them all and to remind them, you are just a human being, shut the f*** up."
The UFC Middleweight fighter explains how the run-in with Machine Gun Kelly ended up taking place and how the altercation quickly went south.
"I go and I meet the vampire, (Luke Trembath) introduces me to the vampire. I make fun of him. I'm just like, dude, what are you f***ing wearing? Like, you, what the f*** is going on here? Like, how are you doing this? And he looked at me and like, he didn't laugh, he didn't giggle, but he looked at me like, he looked at me like, 'Why is this guy like with no respect talking to me like this?'
"He looked at me like I was less than human," Strickland said of MGK. "I was like, 'You know what? I'm going to f***ing humble you right now. Then my girl kind of f***ing got in the way was like, 'Whoa, well chill the f*** and then I was escorted out."
"But, these people, you guys, they're not like me and you," Strickland added on. "They're not the guys you see at the shopping store. They're not the guy getting gas. Like they have this weird god complex and I had no idea who the vampire was."
