UFC 297 is upon us, which means the pre-fight press conference is here.

Before Sean Strickland puts the UFC Middleweight Championship at stake against Dricus Du Plessis, the UFC 297 press conference will get going today at 5 p.m. ET. The presser will feature Strickland and Du Plessis, as well as women's bantamweight title challengers Mayra Bueno Silva and Raquel Pennington.

Fight fans are wondering what off the wall comment Strickland will make this time. Strickland and Du Plessis infamously brawled in the crowd during UFC 296 back in December 2023. With that said, the two seemingly shared mutual respect during a recent episode of "UFC Embedded."

It'll be interesting to see if Strickland will be on his best behavior when it comes to the co-headliners. He has made it clear that he is not a fan of Bueno Silva vs. Pennington, and feels UFC is trying to meet a "quota" with this title fight.
