UFC Commentator Joe Rogan Names One Must-See Fight On UFC 299 Card
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is fascinated by one fight, in particular, booked for UFC 299.
UFC matchmakers have been working around the clock to deliver a slew of events in 2024, but none figure to be as big as UFC 300. With that said, UFC 299 is also looking like one to watch as it'll be headlined by a bantamweight title fight between champion Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera.
There are some other high-profile fights such as Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint-Denis set for UFC 299 on March 9 in Miami, Florida. It's this fight that has Rogan's attention.

During his UFC 297 fight companion live stream, Joe Rogan discussed the Poirier vs. Saint-Denis bout and heaped praise on the latter fighter.
"This is the big fight, Dustin Poirier and Benoit Saint-Denis," Rogan said. "That's the big fight. That Saint-Denis guy is a f****** killer. He's such a killer, that guy's such a scary guy."
Rogan cautioned Poirier to not take Saint-Denis lightly, as he feels "The Diamond" will be sharing the Octagon with a dangerous and hungry lightweight.
"Him vs. Dustin is very exciting and, bro, Dustin better be ready," Rogan said. "He better be ready to go. You better be ready to go with that guy."
Back in November 2023, Saint-Denis went one-on-one with Matt Frevola and scored a first-round head kick knockout victory. While this will be a massive step up in competition for Saint-Denis, he already has supporters who feel he will surprise Poirier on fight night.
