VIDEO: Fighter Suffers Fight-Ending Dislocation at UFC 293
Jose Mariscal has defeated Jack Jenkins with a brutal slam TKO in round two at UFC 293. Mariscal and Jenkins tied up in the clinch, before Mariscal flung his opponent with a whizzer kick. Jenkins posted out with his right arm and as he impacted the canvas his elbow dislocated.

Jenkins didn't rise after the slam, and the ref promptly jumped in. This marks the first UFC defeat for Jenkins, also breaking his nine-fight win streak.
"I actually heard a pop," Mariscal remarked in his post-fight interview. "Machine Gun" discussed taking the rest of the year off after this performance and his consensus fight of the night against Trevor Peek back in June.

This victory was the result of a great mid-fight adjustment by Mariscal. Jenkins landed clean and early in round one with crisp boxing combinations and chopping low kicks. Welts appeared on Mariscal's legs which could have spelled disaster as the fight progressed.
With round one in the books, it was clear that Jenkins was up 10-9. In the second, Mariscal adjusted by bringing the fight to Jenkins and smothering his offense against the fence. This strategy paid dividends as it led to the gruesome fight-ending sequence.
Here's hoping Jenkins can recover and return to his winning ways as soon as possible.
