Shortly after No. 4 Alabama fell 27-20 in overtime to No. 1 Michigan in Monday's Rose Bowl, the Crimson Tide's collective called for NIL donations.

Yea Alabama, the school's official NIL entity, posted a 90-second video on X that leveraged the discouraging loss to ask for fan support in fundraising.

“In this disappointment, we need to take action,” Yea Alabama's director of content, Aaron Suttles said in the video. “We need you to build Alabama’s NIL entity into the biggest in the country. Yea Alabama needs your support.”

Alabama led 20-13 with under five minutes to play, yet couldn't hold on in regulation. In overtime, Michigan running back Blake Corum scored a 17-yard touchdown that would prove to be the game-winner.

Like they had all game, Michigan's defense made another big stop on 4th and 3 from the three-yard-line, not allowing Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe to find the endzone, ending overtime and the Crimson Tide's season.

“Take that bitter disappointment you have and let’s move into using it for good for NIL,” Suttles added.

The Crimson Tide's offense couldn't get on track, giving up six sacks of Milroe and 10 tackles for loss. Milroe passed for just 116 yards, while rushing for 63.

“We need to keep this trail rolling and keep this thing moving forward,” Suttles continued. “The way we do that - the way the fans have the most involvement - is supporting NIL.”

Yea Alabama recently partnered with Milroe and defensive back Terrion Arnold to bring their LANK (Let All Naysayers Know) brand to life through merchandise and NIL opportunities for the entire team.

With the transfer portal and NFL Draft deadlines approaching soon, expect Alabama to work on a revamped roster for 2024. All-American defender Dallas Turner already declared for the Draft, stating after the Rose Bowl that "I'm gone. Ain't no if, ands or buts about it."

While Alabama officially begins their offseason, Michigan will next face No. 2 Washington - who beat No. 3 Texas 37-31 in the Sugar Bowl - for the National Championship on January 8 in Houston.
