Colorado Star Hunter Adds FreeForm Sports to NIL Portfolio

All-American Travis Hunter joins brand's Athlete Advisory Council, releases collection of custom pads and wristbands

Although the Colorado Buffaloes' rollercoaster season ended without a bowl game, the program, Coach Deion Sanders and star Travis Hunter are still garnering national headlines.

The second season of Amazon's docuseries "Coach Prime" premiered over the holidays - highlighting Sanders' first season in Boulder - and his All-American Hunter is front and center.

Off the field, Hunter has added a new NIL partnership and job title to his robust portfolio. The wide receiver/defensive back/kick returner joins FreeFrom Sports as the first member of the brand's Athlete Advisory Council.

In addition to releasing his own pads and wristbands - which launched in conjunction with the partnership announcement - Hunter will contribute to product development for the brand’s football equipment.

Hunter's collection includes a limited number of thigh pads ($60) and wristbands ($25) featuring his TH logo and number 12.

“I love the look and feel of FreeForm Sports’ athletic gear,” Hunter shared in a brand statement. “I am partnering with them so I can help shape the future of performance equipment.”

FreeForm Sports uses revolutionary 3D printing technology to design sleek, lightweight protective gear for elite athletes like Hunter. According to the brand, more college athletes will be joining the FreeForm NIL roster in 2024.

Hunter adds FreeForm to his NIL portfolio which also includes CELSIUS, Rock 'Em Socks, HEYDUDE, Fortnite, American Eagle and 7-Eleven, among others.

To celebrate Hunter on December 12 (12/12), Rock 'Em Socks released a full collection of custom socks and underwear featuring the face, jersey number and "I'm Him" saying of the Buffaloes' all-everything player.

The two-way player earned first-team All-American honors by the Associated Press and Football Writers Association of America, becoming the first All-American Colorado player in 13 years and first all-purpose player in program history.

Hunter and the Buffaloes look to bounce back in 2024 after finishing the season 4-8.
