Iowa Star Caitlin Clark's Next NIL Venture: Cereal
As Iowa star Caitlin Clark's scoring prowess - on pace to break the all-time NCAA records in both the women's and men's games - matches her NIL diversification, the nation's leading scoring is tackling a new brand frontier: cereal.
Clark announced on X that starting January 11, her own cereal - Caitlin's Crunch Time - will be available at select Hy-Vee supermarkets in the midwest area.
All proceeds of the sugar frosted flakes cereal will benefit the Caitlin Clark Foundation, with a mission to uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sport.
As part of Clark's recent partnership with Gatorade, the brand donated $22,000 - honoring her No. 22 jersey number - to the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
After a 29 point, 10 assist and 10 rebound triple double against Rutgers on Friday - her 14th career triple-double - Clark's nation-leading scoring average is now 31.3 points per game.
Clark's NIL portfolio consists of Gatorade, State Farm, Bose and Topps. Additionally, she is one of a handful of college basketball players - including UConn's Paige Bueckers, USC's JuJu Watkins and Bronny James and Memphis' DJ Wagner - to sign NIL partnerships with Nike.
The first college athlete to sign with State Farm, Clark is currently featured in TV commercials with Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat and NBA legend Reggie Miller.
On the all-time NCAA scoring list, Clark (3,218 career points) is in striking distance of Washington legend and current Las Vegas Aces' star Kelsey Plum's record of 3,527.
Clark and Iowa next face Purdue on Wednesday.
