BREAKING: Jamal Murray's Final Status For Nuggets-Suns Game /

On Thursday evening, the Denver Nuggets will face off against the Phoenix Suns for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series in Arizona.

For the game, they will have their star point guard in the starting lineup, as Jamal Murray has been upgraded to available, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic and Stadium

Via Charania: "Denver star Jamal Murray (illness) has been cleared to play in tonight’s Game 6 vs. Suns."

Murray had been a late addition to the injury report due to an illness.

The former Kentucky star is averaging 25.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range through the first ten games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

After missing all of last season due to injury, he has returned and been the team's second-best player (behind two-time MVP Nikola Jokic).

The Nuggets finished the regular season as the first seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round in five games.

They are currently up 3-2 on the Suns, so a victory in Game 6 would close out the series.

If the Suns manage to stay alive, then the Nuggets will host Game 7 back in Denver on Sunday.

So far, neither team has been able to win a game on the road, and the Nuggets are coming off a 118-102 win in Game 5 on Tuesday evening.

The winner of the series will face off against the Golden State Warriors or the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
