UPDATE: Jamal Murray is available.
UPDATE: Jamal Murray will likely play.
UPDATE: Jamal Murray remains listed as questionable on the 6:30 Eastern Time Injury Report.
ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk reported that Murray did not participate in shootaround.
On Thursday evening, the Denver Nuggets will be in Arizona to face off against the Phoenix Suns for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series.
However, one of their best players (star point guard Jamal Murray) has been added to the injury report due to an illness.
Via Underdog NBA: "Jamal Murray (illness) now listed questionable Thursday."
Murray has played in every game of the 2023 NBA Playoffs so far and has impressive averages of 25.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range.
The former Kentucky star is the team's second-best player behind two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.
Currently, the Nuggets have a 3-2 lead over the Suns, so they can close out the series with a victory on Thursday.
If the Suns are able to stay alive, Game 7 will be back in Denver on Sunday.
So far, neither team has won on the road, and the Nuggets are coming off a 118-102 blowout victory in Game 5 on Tuesday.
Murray played 37 minutes and put up 19 points, five rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 7/15 from the field.
He is in his seventh season in the NBA but missed last year due to injury.
That said, he has been fantastic in his return and averaged 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest during the regular season.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals.
