BREAKING: Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status For Heat-Knicks Game /

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat will be at Madison Square Garden to face off with the New York Knicks in Manhattan for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as Jimmy Butler has been upgraded to available.

Via Underdog NBA: "Jimmy Butler (ankle) available to play Wednesday."

The six-time NBA All-Star missed Game 2 but has been in the lineup for each of the last two games.

He is in the middle of a fantastic 2023 NBA Playoffs with averages of 33.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 56.1% from the field and 39.4% from the three-point range.

In the first round, Butler led the Heat to a massive upset over the Milwaukee Bucks (in five games) and they are up 3-1 on the Knicks.

Therefore, they can end the series with a victory on Wednesday evening.

If the Knicks do survive, then Game 6 will be back in Miami on Friday night (the Heat are 4-0 at home in the Playoffs).

Butler is in his fourth season playing for the franchise and has led them to the Eastern Conference Finals two times in the previous three seasons (they made the NBA Finals in 2020).

The winner of the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers.

Currently, the 76ers have a 3-2 lead over the Celtics with Game 6 in Philadelphia on Thursday night.
