BREAKING: Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status For Knicks-Heat Game

Jimmy Butler has been upgraded to available for Game 4.

On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will host Julius Randle and the New York Knicks in Florida for Game 4 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup as Jimmy Butler has been upgraded to available.

Butler missed Game 2 with an ankle injury but returned in Game 3 and had 28 points.

Via Underdog NBA: "Jimmy Butler (ankle) listed available to play Monday."

During the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the six-time All-Star has been spectacular, with averages of 34.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest while shooting 56.4% from the field.

In the two games he has played against the Knicks, the Heat have won both times (their only loss came in Game 2).

The Heat will have an excellent chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a victory on Monday night.

At home, they have gone 3-0 during the playoffs, and they are 30-14 the 44 total games they have hosted in Miami, Florida.

Butler is in his fourth season with the franchise and has led them to the Eastern Conference Finals in two of the previous three seasons (they made the NBA Finals in 2020).

In the first round, they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed) in five games.

The winner of the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers (the Celtics beat the Heat in Game 7 of the 2022 Conference Finals).
