Chris Paul's Official Injury Status For Suns-Nuggets Game

Chris Paul has been officially ruled out for Game 5.

On Tuesday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in Colorado to face off against the Denver Nuggets for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they will remain without their starting point guard, as Chris Paul has been officially ruled out

The future Hall of Famer got injured in the middle of Game 2 and has missed each of the last two games due to a groin injury.

Via Underdog NBA: "Chris Paul (groin) ruled out for Tuesday."

At 38, Paul is no longer the superstar he once was, but he is still averaging 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals per contest during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

The Suns lost the first two games of the series (in Denver) but were able to win both Games 3 and 4 on their home floor (without Paul).

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant have stepped up in a big way and combined to score 158 points over the last two games.

Following Game 5 in Denver, the two teams will go back to Phoenix for Game 6 on Thursday night.

Paul was traded to the Suns during the summer of 2020, and he helped them make the NBA Finals in 2021.

Last year, they had the best record (64-18) in the league during the regular season and lost in the second round of the playoffs.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Los Angeles Lakers or the Golden State Warriors.
