Denver Nuggets Injury Report For Game 1
FINAL UPDATE: Jamal Murray is available, according to Mike Singer of The Denver Post.
On Tuesday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers at Ball Arena in Colorado for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).
The Nuggets have listed star point guard Jamal Murray as questionable, and no one else is on the injury report.
Therefore, if Murray plays, the Nuggets will be fully healthy for Game 1.
The former Kentucky star was listed as questionable for Game 6 of their second-round Playoff series against the Phoenix Suns (and played in the game).
Murray is one of the best point guards in the league and has averaged 25.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest through the first 11 games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs (he's also shooting an excellent 46.1% from the field and 39.5% from the three-point range).
The Nuggets finished the regular season as the first seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (in five games) and Suns (in six games) in the first two rounds.
During the 2021-22 season, they dealt with injuries (Murray missed the entire year) and lost in the first round of the Playoffs.
However, now that they are healthy, there is an excellent chance they could win the NBA Championship.
As for the Lakers, they are the seventh seed but have one of the most talented rosters in the league.
During the regular season, the Nuggets and Lakers faced off four times, and each team won twice.
