On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be at Crypto.com Arena to face off against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

Before the game, the team announced an injury update on four-time NBA Champion Andre Iguodala.

Via The Warriors on Saturday: "Andre Iguodala, who suffered a fractured left wrist on March 13th, has been cleared to intensify his on-court workouts and is expected to participate in team practices at some point next week."

The 39-year-old hasn't played since March following a wrist injury that required surgery.

At this stage of his career, Iguodala is no longer the star-caliber player he once was.

That said, he is still an important role player who has helped the Warriors make the NBA Finals six times (and win four NBA Championships).

Therefore, if Iguodala is available later in the playoffs, he could still help them win games.

The former Arizona star only played in eight regular season games and averaged 2.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field.

Currently, the Warriors are tied at 1-1 with the Lakers, with Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles.

They will need to win at least one game on the road to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole before Game 5 on Wednesday evening back in San Francisco at the Chase Center.

The Warriors are the sixth seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Sacramento Kings in the first round (in seven games).
