Golden State Warriors Player Has "Visibly Swollen" Ankle
The Golden State Warriors are currently in the middle of a first-round playoff series with the Sacramento Kings.
They lost the first two games on the road but were able to pull off a 114-97 victory on Thursday night (at home) to get the series to 2-1.
Jordan Poole has been on the injury report (ankle) in each of the last two games but has been upgraded to available both times.
The former Michigan star has played in all 85 games this season, so he's been one of the most durable players in the NBA.
That said, Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic reports that Poole's ankle "was still visibly swollen" when he saw him at his locker after Game 3.
Despite fighting through an injury, Poole was able to play 28 minutes and put up 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
He is one of the team's most important players, so his availability is vital for the Warriors.
During the regular season, the 23-year-old averaged 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field.
Last year, Poole helped the Warriors win their fourth NBA Championship in the previous eight seasons.
They finished this season with a 44-38 record and are the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
The biggest struggles for the team have come on the road, but they are an incredible 34-8 in the 42 games they have hosted at the Chase Center.
Game 4 will be back on their home floor on Sunday.
