UPDATE: Philadelphia 76ers Injury Report For Game 3

The Philadelphia 76ers have announced their injury report for Game 3.

UPDATE: Joel Embiid is available.

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers are hosting the Boston Celtics for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).

The 76ers have listed 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid as questionable due to a knee injury, and no one else is on the injury report.

Embiid missed two games in a row before returning in Game 2 (he played 27 minutes).

The two teams split Games 1 and 2 in Boston, so the series is tied up at 1-1.

In Game 1, the 76ers were able to win 119-115 (without Embiid), and the Celtics responded with a 121-87 blowout victory in Game 2.

At home, the 76ers have been excellent this season, going 31-12 in the 43 games they have hosted in Philadelphia.

They are the third seed in the Eastern Conference and swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.

That said, the status of Embiid will be significant for this series and the NBA Playoffs as a whole.

The former Kansas star averaged 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest during the regular season.

As for the Celtics, they are the second seed and beat the Atlanta Hawks in the first round in six games.

They have been good on the road, going 27-17 in 44 games played away from Boston.

Last year, the 76ers lost in the second round of the playoffs, while the Celtics made the NBA Finals.
