Phoenix Suns Injury Report For Game 5
On Tuesday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in Colorado to face off against the Denver Nuggets for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series.
For the game, they have announced their injury report.
Star point guard Chris Paul has been ruled out, and no one else is on the injury report for the contest.
Paul got injured during the middle of Game 2, and this will be the third game in a row that he has missed due to a groin injury.
That said, the Suns have been able to play well in his absence and have won each of the last two games to tie up the series at 2-2.
Each team has gone 2-0 on their home floor, so the Suns will need to break the trend in order to avoid falling into a 3-2 hole.
Following Tuesday's contest, the teams will go back to Phoenix for Game 6 on Thursday.
If there is a Game 7, it would be in Denver on Sunday.
Both teams have incredibly talented rosters that should be seen as legitimate contenders to win the title.
The Suns made the NBA Finals in 2021 and lost in the second round of the 2022 playoffs.
As for the Nuggets, they dealt with injuries last year and lost in the first round.
That said, they have an extremely deep roster, and Nikola Jokic won the MVP Award in 2021 and 2022.
The winner of the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face off against either the Golden State Warriors or Los Angeles Lakers.
