UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Nuggets Game
UPDATE: Rudy Gobert is available.
On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Colorado for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets won the first game 109-80 (on Sunday night), so they can take a 2-0 lead with a victory on Wednesday night.
For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.
Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (back) questionable for Wednesday."
Gobert had strong averages of 13.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest in 70 regular season games.
In Game 1, he played 26 minutes and put up eight points, 13 rebounds and two blocks.
He is in his first season with the Timberwolves after spending the first nine seasons of his career on the Utah Jazz (he was traded over the summer).
While the Timberwolves have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA, they went just 42-40 and finished as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
They lost their first play-in-tournament game to the Los Angeles Lakers but were able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder (in the second game) and clinch their spot in the NBA Playoffs for the second straight year.
As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the Western Conference and had a 53-29 record.
They have a deep roster but are coming off a season where they dealt with injuries and lost in the first round to the Golden State Warriors in five games.
