F1 fans have been going crazy for Alpine driver Pierre Gasly's comment on one of Mercedes driver George Russell's latest social media posts.

Russell shared a photo of the W14 following the launch event from Silverstone yesterday morning and captioned the post "Back to Black". The team returned to the all-black livery, which is what fans have been calling for. The W14 features an exposed carbon fibre theme with silver and Petronas turquoise accents.

Gasly commented on the post, cheekily:

"Once you go..."

Fans have reacted to the comment on Twitter, with some saying the French driver is "chaotic".

One Twitter user responded:

"Pierre is chaotic"

Someone else responded:

"Pierre I'm BEGGING you stop"

Another fan responded explaining that they had been tempted to post a similar comment to the Alpine driver. They wrote:

"I was thinking about to write this but omg he really did it"

Someone else responded:

"mans a menace" [sic]

Another fan branded it the comment of the year already. They wrote:

"PIEEERRRREEEE GASSSSSLLYYYYYYY tweet of the year already" [sic]

"Pierre is just hitting bangers even before season starts"

The 2023 season will be kicking off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 3-5 March with the pre-season testing the week before. The last car launch will be this evening with the Alpine A523 reveal this evening at 8pm GMT.

On top of this, Netflix will be releasing the fifth season of Drive to Survive next Friday 24 February.
