The Singapore Grand Prix brought the fifteenth race of the season to a close with Carlos Sainz taking the top spot on the podium. Joining the Spanish driver in the celebrations were Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton who finished in second and third, respectively. 

Red Bull went into the Singapore GP weekend with the possibility of taking the constructors' title, however, the Marina Bay Circuit proved to be difficult for the RB19 cars.

Here is how the standings currently stand with seven races to go. 

Drivers' Standings

The first move in the standings came from Lewis Hamilton who overtook Fernando Alonso for the third spot. Red Bull's difficult race also sees the seven-time champion gaining on Sergio Perez. 

Carlos Sainz, who took the victory at the Marina Bay Circuit, has closed the gap to Alonso from 53 points to 28. There were also a number of retirements from the race, including George Russell which gave Charles Leclerc the opportunity to increase the gap behind him to the British driver. This was previously just 2 points and is now 14.

The second move in the standings is that Oscar Piastri has overtaken Esteban Ocon for eleventh position with the 6 points he gained from the race added with Ocon's DNF. 

Another impressive drive from Liam Lawson earned him 2 points in the standings, putting him above Logan Sargeant.

Constructors' Standings

Although Red Bull's winning streak ended at the Singapore Grand Prix, they have still managed to only have the gap close behind them to Mercedes by 2 points due to George Russell's heartbreaking retirement.

Ferrari - Belgian Grand Prix - Spa Francorchamps

Ferrari has extended the gap to Aston Martin from 11 to 48 points. AlphaTauri has started to close the gap to Alfa Romeo with the 2 points achieved by reserve driver Liam Lawson.
