Silverstone is abuzz with Max Verstappen grabbing the spotlight before the British Grand Prix, but not in a way he'd prefer. British fans showed their displeasure by booing the Dutchman, a reaction that was swiftly addressed by Lando Norris who stood up in his defense. Amid all this, Verstappen chose to keep his eye on the prize, with a pole position in qualifying, he'll be looking for another win today.

Just as Norris was having a chat with Formula 1 during the drivers' parade before the Silverstone race, Verstappen walked past, resulting in a chorus of boos from the crowd. Quickly stepping in, Norris appealed to the fans.

"No booing, Max is a lovely guy," he told them.

Despite the tumult, Verstappen seemed unphased.

"Have fun and hopefully of course we can have a good race. The car has been really good so far this whole weekend again, so hopefully we can show that today. Maybe some rain coming around, you never know."

Red Bull is looking to break McLaren's record of 11 consecutive wins today, and the Dutch driver is laser focused on bringing back the best result for his team. But to take a record? Not so much.

"Yeah, I mean it would be great, but, we're just focused on having a good result."

Despite the unexpected booing, we're expecting to have a great race on our hands as the drivers line up on the grid of the Great British Grand Prix.
