Antti Vierula, who once played a vital role in the training regimen of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, has come forward to share his experience of working with the British racing driver. Vierula was part of Hamilton's support crew from 2011 to 2012 while the dominant driver was still blazing tracks for McLaren. In a recent interview, the trainer revealed the secret behind the driver on how

The personal trainer now offers his expertise to Valtteri Bottas, who used to share the Mercedes' paddock with Hamilton but has since moved to Alfa Romeo. Hamilton also underwent a change up, but in his case, he teamed up with Angela Cullen for the next phase of his illustrious career, a partnership that saw him clinching four more world titles with the Brackley-based team.

While Vierula was on Hamilton's team, their collective efforts managed to push McLaren to second and third places in the Constructors’ title race. At the time, they were up against a formidable Red Bull team, spearheaded by the now-retired Sebastian Vettel.

In a recent interaction with Grosvenor Sport, Vierula sang praises of Hamilton's commitment to perfection. He stated:

"I liked working with Lewis, it was a joy, he’s a passionate guy on the track. He was brilliant in getting everything out of the car and engineers, he pushes people to get the best out of everyone.

“He would work hard getting answers from engineers, giving his opinion about what he thinks is right. He had a brilliant will to improve.”

Adding to Vierula's words of admiration, Angela Cullen posted a supportive message on Instagram after the duo parted ways professionally.

“Lewis Hamilton you GOAT," she wrote.

The British racing icon is currently holding the fourth spot in the Drivers’ standings, with less than half the points held by the leading title contender, Max Verstappen. It will be yet another difficult year for Hamilton, but if these words are anything to go by, he'll keep fighting.
